Your Privacy Choices

We don’t sell your personal information. We don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising either. There are no advertising trackers, third-party data brokers, or analytics partners receiving identifiable data from Rule Guardian.

That’s the bottom line. The rest of this page explains the specific rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and how to exercise them.

Your CCPA rights

• Right to know.You can ask us what personal information we’ve collected about you, where we got it, why we have it, and who we’ve shared it with.
• Right to delete. You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. Some records may be retained where U.S. or Michigan law requires (e.g. tax records).
• Right to correct. You can ask us to fix inaccurate personal information about you.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing.Even though we don’t sell or share your data today, you can still register an opt-out by emailing us — we’ll honour it preemptively if our practices ever change.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. The brokerage OAuth tokens we hold are sensitive personal information. We use them only to operate the service on your behalf — we already limit their use to that purpose.
• Right to non-discrimination. Exercising any of the above will never affect your service, pricing, or features.

How to exercise these rights

If you have an account: the fastest path is the Privacy & data section in your settings — download or delete your data with one click.

If you don’t have an account, or for anything else: email privacy@ruleguardian.co with the subject line “CCPA request” and tell us which right you’re exercising. We respond within 45 days, as the CCPA requires.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request — for example, by asking you to confirm an email address linked to the data. We never charge a fee.

Authorized agents

You may designate an agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require written proof of the agent’s authority and direct verification from you before fulfilling the request.

Notice of financial incentives

We do not offer any financial incentive in exchange for your personal information.
